AMAECHI WILL LOSE 6 COMMISSIONERS TO PDP - WIKE; IT'S ONLY A CONTINUATION OF HIS DECEPTION GAME - TONY OKOCHA

In their continuous trade of words, the faction of PDP controlled by the junior Minister of Education, Nyeso Wike and the APC in Rivers State on Wednesday, where the Minister fired the first salvo during a program purportedly organised by the Millennium Development Goals office of the President in partnership with the Office of  the First Lady.
Wike while addressing Mrs. Jonathan and the crowd that witnessed the occasion said he had assured the First Lady that the opposition PDP would win the election in the state. He also alleged that six of the Commissioners serving under Governor Amaechi will by December leave office and switch over to the PDP. According to the Minister, he had urged the 'ghost' Commissioners to remain in office so as to keep benefiting from the government. He refused to mention the names of the Commissioners as that according to him would lead to their early sack.
But in a swift reaction to the statement of Wike, the spokesman to the camp of the governor and the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Tony Okocha, he dismissed Wike's claims and described it as one of his failed antics in his game of lies and deception.
According to Okocha, "Wike has always given his paymasters the impression that he can remove the governor from his seat. He first claimed he would do so through the courts and when that failed as it was supposed to fail, he came up with the phantom 'coup' at the state Assembly which also failed woefully. Now, he claims to have the power to disorganize the state exco under the governor. Its all a ploy to justify the. Huge sums of money he has received in order to remove Gov. Amaechi".
Tony Okocha said in politics, it is not out of place for some people to take a chance and move from the known to the unknown. He asked if Wike was not aware that many people were leaving the PDP to the APC because he has continued to destroy the PDP because of his inordinate ambition to become governor.
He continued, " Wike should concentrate on how to solve the problem in his Party as majority of the people in PDP are against his leadership style", he said.
Meanwhile, there are strong indications that the empowerment program which the First Lady organized under the MDG office was only financed by the Minister as checks revealed that there is no budgetary provision for such in the MDG office.
A group known as the Rivers Progressive Forum led by Chidi Weli has challenged the MDG office to show proof that the vehicles and other equipment displayed at the sham empowerment program are contained in the budget of the MDG office. Prince Weli in a terse Press Release made available to The News Bar Blog said that the group was already writing a petition to the National Assembly on that issue.
The Rivers Progressive Forum wondered why the First Lady has become a pawn on Wike's chessboard. The group condemned the program aimed at empowering Wike's surrogates for their support of his failed ambition to become  governor at a time when the parents of the abducted Chibok girls are still heartbroken and no effort by the MDG office and the office of the First Lady to supply the affected families and the community with relief materials.
Weli said, "It is callous for any body to be spending millions of Naira in Rivers State leaving out other states that have also supported President Jonathan. They have an insidious motive which is immoral and unjustifiable. We are going to resist any such impunity", he warned.
