YOU ARE THE FACE OF CORRUPTION- Amaechi's aide tells Minister

The lingering face-off between the Rivers State Government and the Minister of State for. Education, Barrister Nyeso Wike has continued with the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Samson Parker hitting hard on the Minister.
Dr. Parker who has just returned from a long trip to UK took time to expose what he alleged are the atrocities of Wike while he served as the Chief of Staff to Governor Amaechi.
In a Press Statement made available to the Press, Dr. Parker explained that contrary to claims by Wike that the Justice Karibi-Whyte Hospital is a fluke, the project is still on-going and would be completed soon for commissioning. He said that Wike had masterminded and framed up allegations of corrupt practises against him while he served as Chief of Staff. According to Parker who has been the pioneer Commissioner for Health since 2007, said that based on Wike's allegations, the governor had to set up a panel of inquiry to investigate the project and he was cleared of any wrong doing while no money was also said to be lost.
Continuing, Dr. Parker accused Wike of being the one responsible for petitioning the ICPC where he was said to have spent millions of Naira to ensure that he was indicted.
Parker went ahead to challenge Wike to produce evidence of corruption against him or the governor. He said, rather Wike should explain the source of his income which accounts for his huge tastes in liquor as well as his huge expenses on chattered air crafts to and fro Port Harcourt twice every week.
The Commissioner also asked Wike to explain to the public where he got the money to acquire properties said to be valued to the tune of N5billion in Port Harcourt and a private residence in Abuja which is valued at N1billion.
Dr. Parker wondered where a man who had never worked in private practise as a lawyer and never filed a brief in Court apart from being a defendant or a plaintiff amassed so much wealth to live a flamboyant life style to the point of buying vehicles for people. He challenged the Minister to explain where he got the money he used to recently sponsor members of his faction of PDP exco to Brazil for the World Cup and to Dubai for a jamboree.
Parker's reaction came on the heels of accusations by Wike that the state governor is aiding corruption as he refused to prosecute some commissioners who were said to be involved in corrupt practises. The Minister had told his supporters last week in Port Harcourt that the governor was wrong to have accused him of short-changing the people of his Local Government by denying them of fourteen model primary schools which he, the governor had approved for them.
Rather than explain what may have transpired, Wike chose to throw banters at his former boss, Gov. Amaechi and accused him of awarding contracts to his wife and 'concubines'; a statement which has earned him knocks from both members of his party and the opposition.
Parker concluded by asking Wike to look at himself in the mirror and he would see the face of corruption.
